Billing orders/remittance advices (BOC-130), 1968-[ongoing].

The Dept. of Corrections is an administrative department responsible for administering and exercising direct and effective control over penal and corrections institutions throughout this state (Ala. Code 14-1-1.2 [Supp. 1988]). Form BOC-130 may be used as a billing order or as a remittance advice. When functioning as a billing order it documents transactions between the department and other state agencies or individuals. When functioning as a remittance advice the form is used by institutions to document transfers of money from the individual institution to the department's general fund budget. Information available on the form includes debit and credit distribution, quantity, number of units, total cost, and customer or transferring institution.
